This is a top-quality guinomi (sake cup) with a gentle, egg-shaped form and glittering gold leaf on the inner rim.
The "Editsuke Kinpaku" (edge-attached gold leaf), registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, is applied with lacquer to the inside of the wooden base.

Handling Precautions
・Avoid soaking in water for extended periods. After use, wash with lukewarm water or cold water and a sponge, then lightly wipe off moisture with a soft cloth.
・Very rarely, some individuals may experience a rash due to lacquer. If you feel any abnormality, discontinue use and consult a specialist.
・Avoid using direct flame, microwave ovens, ovens, dishwashers, etc.
・Avoid using scrubbing brushes or abrasive powders.
・Discontinue use if cracks or chips appear.
