Made of iron, this product maintains the optimal temperature for tea. The glossy jet-black surface is colored with materials resistant to heat and rust. The cast enamel interior is baked slowly to enhance durability, designed to extract a desirable balance of sweetness and astringency from the tea.

Features
・Carefully finished by skilled artisans. The spout's excellent pour control is a distinctive feature, so much so that it is used as a server for liquid condiments in European restaurants to avoid staining tablecloths.
・It can be used as a teapot for Japanese tea, a tea utensil for black tea and Chinese tea, a pot for coffee dripping, or as a sake server for warmed sake or cold sake.

Handling Precautions
・This pot was developed as a teapot and is not a tea utensil for boiling water like an iron kettle. Please avoid direct flames from gas stoves, etc.
・Depending on the conditions of use, cast iron teapots may leave ring stains on tables. We recommend using a pot stand (trivet).
