Characteristics of fish leather
Although the scales are removed during the tanning process, the scale pattern is clearly imprinted on the leather itself. In addition to the scale patterns, sensory organs called lateral lines, unique to fish, are also visible, giving it characteristics unique to fish, unlike leathers from reptiles and other animals.

Remarks
*Just because it's fish leather doesn't mean it's waterproof. While some water exposure is fine, we recommend wiping it off as soon as possible.
*It may warp slightly due to humidity. In such cases, placing a weight on it will restore it to its normal flat state.
*Applying oil once every 1-2 years will extend its lifespan.
